The most appealing and reflective mogul of the Lexington, Ky music scene. 27 year old Kae State has been in the homes and cars of listeners for years. Born in the historical district of Lexington, East End's Bluegrass-Aspendale Housing, he spent his years bouncing back and forth between there and The SouthSide of Lexington (Tates Creek). Through his experience, Kae State captures the lifestyle of a high school drop-out, the struggles, trials, and tribulations of trying to get out of a closed minded environment. Battling racist, the ordinary crab in a bucket mentality, and a life of crime. With 1 solo album, "A Day In The Life",(available literally everywhere online from Itunes to Napster) and his industry alumni debut, Penitentiary Chances", with long time rhyme mate Scoupe & world-known DJ, DJ Smallz and the Southern Smoke phenomenon. As noted in the Super Bowl edition of the Ozone Magazine; Look for Kae State to make Kentucky (and the rest of the world) sizzle! State is currently working on his second project with DJ Smallz, "No Way Out" with features from Slick Pulla, Young Buck, Project Pat, Freeway, and a host of Kentucky's best kept secrets. Kae State plans to drop his second full length album, "The Soundtrack", late 2012 from his own homegrown record label 75 South Music Group LLC.
